JDS goes to Universitas Pertamina
The Jakarta Drilling Society (JDS) has announced a new partnership with Universitas Pertamina (UPer). This collaboration, facilitated by JDS's Ministry of Educational Institution Relations, aims to enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration between the drilling industry and academia. The partnership was formalized with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday, May 30, 2024, by Prof. Dr. Ir. Eddy Ariyono Subroto, Dean of UP's Faculty of Exploration and Production Technology, and Redha Bhawika Putra, Secretary General of JDS.
JDS goes to University of Indonesia
The Jakarta Drilling Society (JDS) and the Society of Exploration Geophysicist Universitas Indonesia Student Chapter (SEG UI SC) organized the Seminar Inversion#1 2024 themed "Unlocking Subsurface Mysteries: Geophysical Perspectives in Drilling Operation." The seminar was held in person at Universitas Indonesia, FMIPA, Department of Geosciences, Building A, 3rd floor, on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
The event was opened by Stella Eulia, President of SEG UI SC. This was followed by an introduction to JDS by Akbar Putra and Sasyi Niskala, and a seminar on "Unlocking Subsurface Mysteries: Geophysical Perspectives in Drilling Operations" by Munayzi Husein
JDS goes to UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta
The Jakarta Drilling Society (JDS), through the Ministry of Institutional Relations, has established a new relationship with the Faculty of Mineral Technology (FTM) at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. This was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding and the presentation of a souvenir by Mr. Sutarto, Dean of FTM UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, to Yudi Hartono, Chairman of JDS.
JDS goes to Politeknik Akamigas Palembang
On Saturday, July 2, 2022, JDS team attended MoU Signing Event with Politeknik Akamigas Palembang.
JDS goes to Politeknik Akamigas Cepu
The JDS at Campus program at PEM Akamigas Cepu featured Umar Sidiq from PT. Pertamina Geothermal Energy as the lecturer for the Lifting and Rotating Equipment course. Held in-person on November 10-11, 2022, the course ended with an online group presentation on December 5, 2022. This initiative supports the advancement of drilling knowledge in Indonesia.
JDS goes to ITB
Jakarta Drilling Society, in collaboration with HMTM Patra ITB, IATMI SM ITB, and SPE SC ITB, held the seminar "Breaking Out of Your Shell Into The World of Drilling" on December 3, 2022, at the Energy Building, Bandung. Mr. Redha Bhawika Putra, CEO of Arka Data Pratama, discussed the geothermal industry in Indonesia and student preparation for the field, especially drilling. This event aims to inspire students to delve deeper into the geothermal industry. Stay tuned for more exciting seminars!
